Most people spend their lives seeking recognition.
Recognition from family.
Recognition from friends.
Recognition from lovers.
Recognition from strangers.
Recognition from the crowd.
And while there is nothing wrong with being seen...
How many people have actually taken the time to witness themselves?
Not the version presented to the world.
Not the version explained.
Not the version defended.
The version that exists when nobody is watching.
The version that appears when the room becomes quiet.
In true silence.
Because there is a difference between being recognized and being witnessed.
Recognition says:
"I know who you are."
Witnessing says:
"I see you."
One is often projection.
The other requires presence.
Perhaps that is why so many people feel unseen.
Not because nobody looked.
But because so few truly saw.
Including themselves.
Some fear it.
As much as they fear the mirror.
Because the mirror has never been interested in the story.
Only the reflection.
Witnessing yourself in sacred silence is not judgment.
It is remembrance.
A recalibration of self.
An alignment of your inner being.
A return to center.
In that place, there is nothing to defend.
Nothing to perform.
Nothing to prove.
Only awareness.
Only honesty.
Only presence.
And every step taken afterward carries a different weight.
A different intention.
A different truth.
Like thunder moving through a reality we are all helping create.
In that place, you need not become more.
You need not become less.
Be.
Breathe.
Be.
Breathe.
Resonate with your truth.
For no one else.
For yourself.
Have a rising ever becoming of you.
